Three Pathways: IBDP, A Levels and Spanish Baccalaureate

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a prestigious and globally recognised qualification that equips students with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to succeed at top universities around the world.
As part of the IB Diploma Programme, students are required to study six subjects. While they have the flexibility to choose from a range of disciplines, some subjects—such as Mathematics—are mandatory. Each subject is available at two levels of difficulty: Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL). Students must select three subjects at HL and three at SL.
Beyond these six subjects, all IB students complete a core component made up of three elements: Theory of Knowledge (TOK);
Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS); Extended Essay.

A Levels

In 2024 results, we achieved a world class result: 58% of our grades were A* and A, an achievement that puts us 30 percentage points above the UK national average of 28%.
Spanish Baccalaureate
TEMS empowers students for careers or higher education through our robust Spanish Baccalaureate programme.
With a focus on Sciences, Humanities, or Social Sciences, this program integrates English language development, preparing students for global opportunities and university choices.

Baccalaureate FAQs
Montessori Baccalaureate education provides the skills and knowledge necessary for better adaptation to any university system. The Montessori philosophy, experienced in the Baccalaureate classrooms, creates a close connection and bond between teachers and students.
The Baccalaureate at TEMS is characterized by a focus on self-directed learning, personal development, and preparation for university and adult life through hands-on projects and in-depth studies.
A Levels are the two years of Baccalaureate in the British educational system, and they are the exams students take at the end of this stage, before entering university.
