A holistic approach to wellbeing
Your child's wellbeing is our top priority. Our team around the child consists of all our teachers, who receive training in partnership with the Youth Mental Health First Aiders, our Heads of Year, School Psychologist, our School Nurse and Wellbeing Lead. Our curriculum includes time for emotional education at all stages. Emotional education involves developing skills to understand, manage, and express emotions effectively, fostering greater self-awareness and interpersonal relationships. It empowers individuals to navigate life with emotional intelligence and resilience. Our facilities include a Wellbeing Room and Friendship Benches.

Emotional intelligence as part of the curriculum
We value emotional education as much as any other academic subject, including 30-minute sessions in mixed age groups within our Explorer Lesson programme.
We develop our students' emotional awareness through a range of practical activities such as role playing, art, journal writing, practising emotional regulation strategies and body relaxation techniques.
With a dedication to emotional education we are developing empathy and resilience in our students and preparing them to face life's challenges.
WellbeingThe essence of TEMS Education
Our commitment to wellbeing encompasses the physical, emotional, and social aspects of life. Our Be Well Charter integrates the pillars of quality sleep, a balanced diet, regular exercise, and the nurturing of positive relationships, laying the groundwork for a flourishing life. It's not just about learning; it's about building a foundation for a lifetime of balanced, purposeful, and emotionally intelligent living.
We don't just educate minds; we empower individuals to navigate life with confidence, resilience, and a profound sense of self-belief.
