Community Service
Community outreach, including visits to elderly resident homes and swap shops, is crucial for fostering a sense of connection and support within neighbourhoods.
These initiatives not only bridge generational gaps and combat social isolation among the elderly but also promote sustainable practices and collaborative relationships, creating resilient and caring communities that thrive on mutual understanding and shared resources.
In addition, as part of our Enrichment Lessons, we provide the opportunity for our Seniors to support at Discovery House by organising reading days with Infants' students, encouraging their caring and empathy skills.
